Update: Galaxy Note 3 to be released September 4th
As mentioned in an earlier blog post, the Samsung Galaxy Note III, developed by Korean electronic manufacturer, is going to supposedly have 3GB of RAM which will greatly improve performance and multitasking capabilities. The Galaxy Note III also has a date in which we’re expecting it to be announced and/or unveiled.
The phone, which many refer to as a phablet (phone + tablet) due to the size of the display, is suggested to be introduced at IFA 2013 in Berlin, Germany. We are unsure whether or not this is true, but according to Android Geeks, it is. Android Geeks claim to have talked to a source “close to the matter”.
The predecessor of the Samsung Galaxy Note III, the Samsung Galaxy Note II, was also revealed just before last year’s IFA conference.

Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Note II has 2GB of RAM, Android 4.1, a quad core processor clocking in at 1600 MHz, a 3100mAh battery and it’s widely known big display measuring 5.3 inches diagonally. The Samsung Galaxy Note III is said to top that with an even bigger screen measuring anywhere from 5.7 to 6 inches. It will feature Super AMOLED with Full HD 1080p resolution, and possibly a 13 megapixel rear facing camera and a 8 megapixel front facing camera. All these hardware components are going to be crammed into a case that will be only 8mm thin, according to SamMobile. As well, SamMobile says the phone will weigh 183 grams, which is lighter than it’s predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Note II. Of course, it will also feature a S pen stylus. To process it all is the possible octa-core processor, but the reality of that, we don’t know.
The new 3GB of RAM with the Samsung Galaxy Note III and all the features listed above will keep up with Samsung’s tradition of high-end Android smartphones. Tell us what you think about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note III here on AndroidCritics.com or on Facebook, Twitter or Google+.
